Areej has also worked with both amateur and professional athletes including the Northen Thunder netball team and the Olympic Women’s Waterpolo team.

Her current focus involves the provision of ultrasound guided steroid injections. Steroid injections help stop the chronic inflammatory cycle which is often the cause of ongoing soft tissue or joint pain. Interrupting this cycle is often enough to bring resolution to symptoms, with the most effective results achieved by also incorporating appropriate exercise and nutrition.
